Commissioning a painting is easy. 

We can work from your photos for both landscapes and decorative pieces.

The PORTRAIT  requires an initial appointment to plan and discuss the composition.  I like to do a headstudy from life which will require approximately 90 minutes. I also prefer to take my own reference phtographs.  These objectives can be accomplished in several meetings or combined into one longer appointment.   My preference is to meet the sitter in their own environment.

 The  CAMEO 

When doing this portrait, we will meet for approximately 90 minutes.  I will work fast to create a quick representation of the sitter in either oil, pastel, or charcoal .  This is sometimes referred to as a headstudy. We can meet at my studio or at  the home of the client.

 I can work from your photograph which can be sent to me by e-mail.

All commissions are priced based on size and composition. 

Portraits range from  $1000 to $5000

Cameo: is a small spontaneous painting of head and neckline either in oil, pastel, or charcoal.........  $400.00

Commission landscapes and decorative pieces start at $450.00

framing and delivery can be included for an additional price

a 30% deposit is required to begin the project

travel expenses will be paid by the client
